Apartment Watch: One Gone

I can't believe it. This apartment in Prospect Heights is in contract already. It just went on the market.
I criticized its layout, bathroom location and monthly maintenance cost. But the appeal of subway proximity coupled with park proximity trumps many downsides. You don't often get both (or either) in New York.
The Washington Heights apartment I featured is having an Open House this weekend. Too bad I'll be out of town because I think this one is a real deal.

Kia ora Katie,
I shall pass on an old Maori saying: Kai ka ha, meaning Remain Strong. Your place will come and you will know.
Tara and I are contemplating some serious life changes as well. Today we drove ou to Apiti - a village of perhaps 100 people in the foot hills of the Ruahines, and a 50 minute drive from Palmerston North. We looked at a 3 bedroom house, with a finished sleep out, on the market for 125k. Meaning a complete life style change, 1 income, and almost no mortgage. Decisions decisions!
Have a great day.
ka kite ano,
Robb
